My little corner of the world has had quite a bit of snow over the past two days. Well, “quite a bit” is really just two inches or so, but that’s a pretty good amount for us.
I’ve made sure that my birds have had plenty to eat. :) Sure do love ’em.
Assuming anyone still reads this and has it bookmarked, I’ve moved back to Blogger. I’m sorry! You can find me by clicking HERE!
The water was SO blue when we were at Panama City Beach, Florida. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it that blue and clear in all the times that I’ve been there. It was so beautiful.
Today has been a lazy day. I’ve had no motivation to do anything and I HATE when I feel this way. Luckily I don’t feel this way too often.
I’m having a really hard time concentrating or staying focused on anything. It’s so frustrating but I don’t really know what to do about it. :( It makes me crazy.
We’re going to a couple of farmers markets tomorrow and maybe even doing some flea-marketing and yard sales. Woo hoo! I can’t wait. :)
This was one of about 20 photos I took at the beach when we went to Florida (this is at St. Andrews State Park). If you know me, you know that normally I take hundreds (literally) of photos whenever we go somewhere. I don’t know what was wrong with me. I ALWAYS take photos. I guess I just wasn’t feeling it. :(
Gym class isn’t happening this week because of vacations and whatnot. I sure wish it was still going. I really, really enjoy it and I can tell such a difference in my body. :) I can’t wait until it starts back up next week.
Today I went to the Chattanooga Nature Center all by myself. It was a last minute thing, otherwise I would’ve invited my buddies. I was disappointed though because I didn’t see nary a thing. :( I was there for about 2 hours (if that) and headed home.
Hope your day was lovely.
My hubby and I went to the Battlefield Farmers Market today and bought all kinds of yummy yum yums. We passed on these blackberries although I’m not sure why. They were HUGE.
We bought fresh blueberries, tomatoes, cube steak, silver queen corn, & peaches. I have a recipe I want to try with the blueberries so I’m pretty excited about that.
On the way home we stopped by a sporting goods store and my hubby bought me a handgun. Yes, a handgun. A .38 Special to be specific. The store owner and my hubby made me shoot it before we bought it. I didn’t like to shoot it. It feels weird. HOWEVER, I go out in the woods and whatnot quite often by myself so I’m actually glad to have the gun. He bought bullets that will just injure someone, and them bullets that could kill someone. Freaks me out, really. Hopefully I’ll never have to use it, but I’m going to take classes so I’ll know how to use it if I have to. I wouldn’t hesitate to shoot someone that was trying to harm me. No doubt about that.
We are finally back home and the ride didn’t take long at all.
I’m so happy to be back in my own bed. :)
We had a wonderful time.
Shopped with Brooke & Ashley at Pier Park in Panama City Beach today. We also did a mirror maze there and had all kinds of fun.
After our shopping trip we headed over to St. Andrews State Park and met the guys. They were there fishing (aka “Killing Time”). We stayed there for a couple of hours and headed back to the house to cook out.
I haven’t even taken my big cameras out of the camera bag. Shocking, right?
Maybe I’m sick. ;)
Happy July 4th! God Bless America!
