The last of the windows were installed today. Yay! They look fantastic. We still have to do the four upstairs windows, but we probably won’t do those until spring. I’m so excited, as you probably already know, because it’s so nice to be able to see out the windows and have such a clear, beautiful view. Our other windows were terribly old (like me). ;) Marshall’s Dad and Cain worked really, really hard to get them done, and they did a wonderful job.
I went and got my Thanksgiving groceries today. I’d say I spent about $170, which is about $15 or so more than I spent last year. As I sit here and look at that amount of money for ONE dinner, it seems absolutely absurd, but I look at it this way: I don’t buy a lot of groceries. I’m sad to say that I don’t cook a whole terrible lot. I don’t spend that much money on groceries in a two or three month time span, so I guess looking at it that way makes it all even out. Right?
Brookie will be home tomorrow. I can’t wait to see her engagement ring. I mean I can’t wait to see HER. ;)
