Storms

Picked up Mom and headed down to the campground tonight. Cain called us (he was already there) and said that the storm sirens were going off and that there was a tornado warning down there. We told him to go to the bathhouse and ride it out.

We ran into the storm about Rising Fawn and we sat at a gas station to let the worst of it go on by us. It was spooky. I like storms but not at night when I can’t see what’s going on, and not when I’m driving in them.

The tornado didn’t hit where the camper is set up, thank God, but one did hit down that way.

It was pretty later in the afternoon but it sure was cold! Mom kept the campfire going all day, but brr! Tomorrow is supposed to be better. :)
