Merry Christmas!

“Like snowflakes, my Christmas memories gather and dance – each beautiful, unique and too soon gone.” ~ Deborah Whipp (1964-), web designer.

Before the voices
of the Earth’s choirs
were raised in praise…
there was a silent night.

Before the strings of lights
were wound around the world,
and tinsel strung…
there was a single star.

Before the wide~eyed wonder
of a child on Christmas morn…
Before the gifts…
there was a child,
born in Bethelehem,
who showed the world
the greatest gift of all…

is love.

I got a Wii for Christmas! I got a Wii for Christmas! :)  The picture above is of Marshall’s mom, who is bowling on the Wii. We had a tournament and Marshall’s mom and dad – neither of which have ever played Wii – beat us all. Marshall’s dad was Grand Champion. ;)

We all got wonderful gifts and one of my favorite gifts that I received is a hunter’s blind (which you can see by clicking that link).  That way, I can sit outside and be hidden from the birds and wildlife that I’m trying to photograph. :)

I wish you all could’ve seen Marshall and Cain trying to close the blind after we popped it open to look at it. :) It seriously took them a good 45 minutes and finally I got on the computer and Googled “how to close hunting blind” and sure enough, there was a video on YouTube showing how to do it. :) Thank goodness for that video or they may have never figured it out. Brooke laughed so hard that her sides hurt. :)

Seriously, best Christmas ever. Ever. :) We had a great time.

Merry Christmas, everyone!
