Here are Cain and Lucy on the beach at Myrtle Beach, SC, yesterday. It was SO cold, as previously mentioned. Aren’t they cute though? :)

Today I spent the majority of the day running errands, and I’ll be doing the same tomorrow. I’m enjoying getting things done though. :) It was a pretty day, too. It was warmer than I’d like it to be for November, but it was enjoyable.

Tomorrow one of my errands is taking Lucy to the vet to get spayed. I KNOW that I have no reason to worry, but I am. I am trying to talk myself out of taking her. She’s so tiny! I know they say it’s good to have it done early, but she’s not even seven months old yet. Pray that everything will go ok. If something happened to her….

A 77-year old woman died in the fire I told you about last night. Her son tried desperately to get her out, but couldn’t. I feel so bad for him. I wish there was something I could do to help.

What I wouldn’t give for a good thunderstorm right now. It has been so long since we’ve had any storms. I don’t want it to get rough or anything, I would just love to hear some thunder rumbling.

Our next door neighbor put up their Christmas lights on the side of their house. I want my stuff up! I’m so excited. I just can’t wait to get everything out. I came in and watched “A Christmas Story” just to make myself feel better. Do you love the movie, too? I sure do. I just wish that I didn’t know that the kid who plays Schwartz grew up and is now a porn star. (You’re welcome).

  1. Thanks Rach…Schwartz is a porn star? Really, I didn’t need to know that. :)

Funny though, I was just griping tonight about how I missed the Peanuts Halloween special this year and thinking I need to find my dvds and watch it along with the Thanksgiving and Christmas episodes before I become my yearly “bah-humbugish” self. I haven’t found a Santa candle yet for this year…one that I can happily watch burn down to nothing. Um, can you tell I’m a postal worker? lol

Now, where is my Burl Ives cd? I gotta listen before December 1st so that I’ll still be in the mood.

Miss you Santa baby. Smooches to you and M!

  2. I did NOT need to know about Schwartz, but yes I love love love that movie. I watched the 24 hours of a Christmas story one year. Well, I probably fell asleep a couple of times, but it didn’t matter because when I woke up it was still on!!!

  3. ACK… NO…I didn’t want to know that!!!!! :|
We do love that movie around here though!! Fun, fun… we actually watched it last night! :)
Have a great day, my friend!
