Brooke and I took our bikes to the Chickamauga Battlefield today. We rode about six miles and we had SO much fun. As we were pulling out of the driveway it started raining, and about halfway through town the bottom dropped out. It was raining so hard that we couldn’t even see the road, and then it started hailing. We thought about coming back home but we figured it would be cleared up by the time we got to the park so we went on. I’m so glad we did.
Oh, and yes, we did ride without helmets today but we WILL use helmets. I have one but just forgot it. I’m not sure if Brooke has one or not. Anyway, we had such a great time. We saw butterflies, an Indigo Bunting, a doe with her little fawn, and a black snake. It was a great way to spend the day.
We watched Gran Torino last night and we all really, really liked it. Clint Eastwood’s voice is so gruff that I came to the conclusion that he must’ve been the inspiration for Christian Bale’s insane Batman voice. ;)

His voice has been gruff lately. Maybe something is going on there physically? It was a great movie though.
